Purpose of the role:

The SAP First line support Planning and Operations will be an integral member of the SAP Competence Center and will work very close together with the business and other Process-, Application- and Technical Analysts. The team operates in a challenging environment between project- and service management (build, run and innovate). Together with the team the first line support will be responsible for the functional support (ticket handling) on existing SAP environments (APO and ECC 6). The first line support/Application Analyst will have the functional end-to-end responsibility from requirement analysis to delivery for SAP incidents and changes. Members of the team will work independently with both external partners and the business to successfully deliver business solutions.

The SAP first line support will be based in one of our office in The Netherlands (Breda) and will be required to travel to company locations from time to time (customer engagement).

 

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day re-active and pro-active business support
  • Dispatch Support Tickets to the appropriate SAP CC Process-, Application- or Technical Analysts
  • Be first contact to business
  • Follow-up on incidents and changes according to the client business Europe IT Services SLA’s
  • Adhere to standard procedures and policies
  • Master Data Management/Maintenance of mainly Customer-, Supplier- and Product-Masterdata Objects
  • Setup and configure the application according to business needs and SAP CC guidelines
  • Respect project and documentation standards (i.e. End-User, training, testing etc.)
  • Achieve expert configuration knowledge through continious learning and system configuration

Key functional competencies:

  • Minimum 2 years work experience in a similar role or position
  • SAP Consultant knowledge of the following SAP module: PP through SAP support implementation experience and training curriculum
  • APO knowledge is a pre. but not a must
  • Business (process) understanding and analytical capabilities – through working experience
  • Operational business experience in SAP application environment – as SAP knowledge worker/key-user
